Welcome to Sundance Stables in Norton Massachusetts!

Owner and Trainer Rebecca Schaefer named this farm after her best buddy  “The Sundance Kid”. Pictured on the left. aka “Sunny” and Rebecca have been in partnership since he was 4 years old and she was 13. Rebecca has been actively involved with Eventing, Jumpers, Dressage, Barrel Racing, and even Team Penning. She grew up around horses all her life. Rebecca started riding when she was 7 years old. She then went off to college at Johnson & Wales University and earned her Bachelors Degree in Equine Studies/Business Management. She also received her Massachusetts Instructors Certificate through college and has been teaching since 2003.

Sundance and Rebecca have ridden together under phenomenal trainers and clinicians like Tom Davis, John Blair, Skip Bellingham, Mark DeBlasio Patty Montana, Denny Emerson, Nancy Guyotte, Eric Horgan, Gerd Zuther, and Neil Shapiro just to name a few.

Our Stable wants to keep a fun and friendly atmosphere at a convenient location right off a RT 495 exit 10 or 9. We offer Boarding, Rough board, Lessons, and Training for you and your horse. Area trails all around us for the people who like to do some Pleasure Riding. We offer lessons to anyone who wants to learn mainly English and the basics of Western riding. We welcome just the average horseman!
